NEW CAR!!!

Ok so i got a new car!!!

It is a 1994 (6 years newer than my old one)  Honda accord LX. It runs really well and most importantly it is stick shift (5-speed, Manual, etc.) It was really had to get used to and i still kill the engine and shift wrong but I am getting there.

I will post more later – I have to get up 4 school tomorrow so yea

Car Crash

Ok guys this is kinda embarrassing but i got in a car accident today.

I was turning onto Innisfree from sells mills and i took the turn too wide. I hit a guy in a red Ford truck and luckily i didn’t do any major damage but i will need to replace his wheel

my front bumper (left) is smashed up and i may have to replace it is (if i keep the car)

the front axle is bent and the steering bar thing is screwed as well

well thats all i can write for now – I am fine and so is he

My car is totaled and i am currently looking for another one (by totaled i mean it would cost $3000 to fox)

Ramblings

So usually i know what i am going to write about before I go to blog but this time i just wanted to talk and didn’t really have a set topic. Well i guess i will just talk about what classes i am taking this year. Tomorrow i will get my schedule and i hope i get good teachers. I will be taking Health (ugh) cause i have to but it’s only half of the year so it won’t be too bad. I am also taking A.P. Comp. Sci. and I am pretty excited about that class for obvious reasons I am also taking CISCO I which is a networking class (no not social networking) I am taking the normal Chemistry and Honors Pre-calc, Lastly i will be taking A.P. English Language (?) I am excited about this class because it will ask what I think not what the teacher want me to think. I also hope that we will be writing a short story sometime during this year because after reading lots of fantasy books over the summer I am full of ideas for Character names and personalities and since I doubt the teacher has read these books i will also be able to piggy-back off of some of the storyline ’s .

Also I want to talk a little bit about my church. I recently attended a Sunday night service and would have fallen asleep if not for writing a rant to the church the entire time. I left the 3 (offering) envelope long message on the secretary of our churches desk with the signature RandAlThor@inbox.com (An email address that i control) I never attacked the church as a whole i simply pointed out the flaws in the system. I feel that the church is similar to the <government> in many ways. First of all they must have all the power, People have stopped questioning anything my church does because if you question the church you are ungodly <unpatriotic>. They also take away rights they have no business taking away – Hand-holding <Free speech> My neighbor (L****) recently was told Not to hold her boyfriends hand at a church picnic ?! they were told that it wasn’t *healthy* for the little kids to see… Not correct me if i’m wrong but I’m pretty sure we are supposed to show affection to each other and I personally think that the church is training our young ones to be cold robots that follow instructions unchallenged and do not interact with others. You ask why these shootings at school happen? I will tell you the problems (9 times out of 10) is the way these kids were raised. They were not shown love by there parents, Not shown love by their class mates and no one tried to reach out and help them. The church should be a warm friendly environment but it has become little better than the outside world.

Another thing, Youth group. I have said this before and i will say it again Our youth group has one foot in the grave and one on a banana peel. It is on the brink of death. The only was to resurrect it is to give back the power to make decisions to the youth. When our youth paster gave a group of youth *control* of the youth group (Wednesday nights TAS) it flourished. We had almost 50-60 people coming each week and from this other events at our church also had elevated attendance. But instead of letting what was working, work – our youth paster removed us from the equation and at the last TAS we had maybe 15 people! I really hate that this is the case but it is true. I have thought about leaving my church as soon as it is possible. I would like to go to a more… Conservative. One that doesn’t judge the people i bring to it, One that plays music that is fit for a funeral dredge. One that knows that the youth know what they are doing and lets them do it.

Major changes need to occur at my church

1. New Pastor – time to retire buddy, your time has passed and we need someone who can hold our attention instead of keep us in the sanctuary up to 30min passed when your sermon was supposed to be over

2. Listen to the youth – We know whats hot and whats not, I’m sorry but a bible study lead by someone 3 times older than us is NOT cool

3. More accepting – Um i expect to bring my friends and not fear people looking down on them

4. New music – Really i keep looking around for the casket to come up the isle.
